This is not a stand alone magic effect, but a prop you can use in conjunction with many other coloring effects to enhance the routine.
The apparatus comprises of what appears to be a regular artist Palette, with six blobs of paint in different colors. Just wave the Palette, and the colors vanish, leaving six empty? spots in their place. You can also do this in reverse, having the colors appear in place of the empty spots.
This goes very well with coloring props like The Magic Coloring Book, Color It, Amazing Birthday Bear picture frame etc. After showing the black and white picture(s), display the Palette with the colored spots, wave it over the picture(s), and show the colors have vanished. Effect :- Three chips lay on the performer's table. Two are red, on both sides shown. The odd one is black (on both sides - shown). These are displayed in a line onto the table surface, the black in central position, the reds on the outside. An examined pocket handkerchief is draped over the chips.
Showing his hands empty, the performer reaches beneath the hank and brings out the black chip. This he vanishes. When the hank is withdrawn, the black chip has returned, back in its original place, between the reds.

Another Chip effect from Ian, and this one with a mental flavor.
Effect :- The performer displays four red chips with four different colored spots, and four black chips with matching colored spots. After displaying all the chips on both sides, (the spots are of the same color on both sides of each chip), the four black chips are placed on the table, and covered by a borrowed pocket handkerchief.
The performer places one of the red chips under the handkerchief, stating it is a duplicate of what will be selected. A spectator is invited to name any of the four spot colors on the black chips. The performer reaches under the handkerchief and removes three of the black chips, one at a time, showing each chips on both

CD Changed and Gone
Tricks with CDs are quite popular today, as tricks with records once were. Most of these are variations of the Colour Changing Records, with a few other novel effects (penetrations, Zig-Zag CD, Flaming CD etc.) for variety.
This prop is a modified version of Norman's Card Go prop used for vanishing a Jumbo Card.
Besides being adapted for use with CDs, the mechanism has been modified to allow you to change a CD, or vanish it, or do both in the routine.
A sample routine :- performer displays a stand with a cutout hole, and a coloured CD - say yellow. The CD is clearly visible through the cutout. A silk is draped over the stand, and when removed, the CD has changed to red. The frame is opened, and the complete CD can be displayed freely on both sides. It is replaced in the stand, a silk passed in front, and the CD has completely vanished.
Or display a blank CD on both sides, and say you will print it in your magic CD machine to the Hit number on Top of the Charts. Change the CD, and you can even play the changed CD in any portable CD player.
Besides being adapted for use with CDs, the mechanism has been modified to allow you to change a CD, or vanish it, or do both in the routine.

The Magician shows an empty Pan, and drops a piece of lit cloth or paper inside. The pan is covered, and when it it opened several live Doves or Pigeons or chicken or ducklings, a small Duck or Rabbit, or other similar live stock appears.

This is repeated again. It is repeated for a third time, each time the black chip being removed and vanished, only to reappear back again.

The magician displays a small black box about one inch square and two and half inch long. He opens the sliding cover of the box and the audience can see three different colored dice inside which fill the entire box. One of the dice is removed from the box and placed in the performer's pocket. The box is given to a spectator to hold. The performer feints throwing the die from his pocket into the box. When the spectator opens the box he finds the die has re-appeared in the box.
Miracle Re-Appearing Die is a very clever mechanical pocket item, almost self working in nature. There are no sleights or false moves. The apparatus is self working, and the secret very clever.
