The performer displays a pack of cards. Three cards are selected by members of the audience, and shuffled back into the pack. The pack is held by a spectator. Performer displays a large sword. Spectator is asked to toss the cards at the sword. As the cards cascade down, the performer plunges the sword into the shower of cards. The audience see three cards impaled on the sword. And needless to say these are the same cards selected by the audience.

PKMB or "psycho kinetic metal bending" became a subject of scientific study after Geller's amazing demonstrations in 1972, and in this effect the phenomenon is demonstrated using a solid 1/4" diameter iron nail, some 5" long. The nail is cushioned in a piece of rubber tubing, and held between the performer's fingers. As the performer concentrates, the nail slowly bends in an uncanny fashion, almost to right angles. It is then straightened, removed from the tube and shown to be rigid and solid once again.
With a little flair for presentation, this is a knock out effect, performed right under the spectator's nose.

Night Club Dove Vanish
We supply you four colored "rummy chips", and a manuscript of many close-up effects you can do with these, just to start you off. But the very clever construction of these chips will soon have you creating effects of your own.
For example show a red chip in one hand, and a green one in the other. Have the chips change places a couple of times, and the smart ones in the audience will tell you the chips are red on one side, and green on the other. So you clearly show both sides of each chip, and watch the reaction ! And that's just the simplest effect of the lot.
